Asia Tailormade Travel Consultant – London – up to £39k + comm (PTR 3045)
We are collaborating with a fabulous forward thinking and dynamic specialist tour operator now seeking an experienced Asia Tailormade Travel Consultant to join its fun and friendly team, office based in London. Our client offers a range of worldwide tailormade holidays worldwide, with a huge demand for Asia, China and Australia we are now seeking Asia experts, using a mix of expertise, passion and attention to detail, to make sure every holiday is special.

If you currently work within a tour operator, selling Asia along with China and/or Australia and well travelled to either places, happy to work in the London office full time this is the opportunity for you. Asia Tailormade Travel Consultant – Duties:
- Selling tailormade travel across Asia including Japan along with China and Australia / NZ. Involvement in selling other destinations.
- Responding to incoming calls and emails, providing expert advice to customers Creating tailor-made itineraries to match customer requirements.
- Providing an efficient, customer focused after sales service
- Administration of bookings, ensuring information is correct with all suppliers, and for invoicing and documentation
- Mentoring and coaching junior members of the worldwide sales team
- Attendance at relevant supplier events / product training
Asia Tailormade Travel Consultant – Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in a tailor-made travel sales role from a UK based travel company and in booking trips to the above destinations.
- First hand experience of travelling to in SE Asia, preferably Japan, China and Australia / NZ.
- Strong sales ability.
- High degree of proficiency in word and excel, and ability to learn and efficiently use multiple in house software apps.
- Passion for travel with genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service.
- Attention to detail and positive attitude.
